ASSEMBLY:
Sew on any front accessories first. Decorate with buttons, or however you want your gingerbread character to look.. Any accessories to be glued on, such as googly eyes, or added yarn bits to the top for hair, can be done last.
With wrong sides together sew up body to waist high, stuff with polyfiber fill if planning to use as a doll, just stuffing with loose yarn tails will be enough for a tree or gift ornament. Sew up to neck [and continue stuffing with filler], sew up the head [inserting a bit of fiberfill]. Sew closed. Add a skirt with bow in some hair for a girl figure.
Enjoy using your figure to decorate a tree, a stocking, add to the ribbon of a gift package, or however your imagination runs. Remember to use age appropriate accessories, if a child, who still puts things in the mouth, is likely to handle the figure.
