- the 16th, at our regular meeting, Andrée presents, Knitting a Carry-all from Plastic Shopping Bags
Please prepare your collection of bags as follows:
1. cut off all the handles and bottoms, so that the bag is one open cylinder
2. cut each cylinder horizontally into 1" -1.5" circular loops
3. draw one loop through the loop of another to make a linked pair,
4. continue connecting loops into a continuous chain
-the 30th, our joint retreat in Gloucester
- bring a dish to share
- $5 donations for the dog shelter are the key to enter
- address for the venue are available from the meeting on the 16th

March 19th: Field Trip to the Knitting B
April 16th: Exploring www.Ravelry.com, offered by Suzanne
-This month is also the Powhatan Fiber Fest
May 21st: Our first Annual Hanover Knitting Guild Retreat @ the Ashcake Rescue Squad Building
HKG Retreat, $5 entry fee will be donation to the Rescue Squad that graciously allows us meeting use of their space.
Each participant is expected to bring a dish to share. Click here > 4-16-16 meeting report for details about preparation.
June 18th: Annual picnic, location TBD / cancelled due to widespread power outage
July 16th: Puppets for Rugrats, offered by Jeri
Aug. 20th: "Yarn Representative from Rowan will give us a heads-up on the new yarns they are bringing out.
Sept. 17th: Knitting Fair Isle designs offered by Mary
Oct. 15th: Fashion Show
Please plan to model/show your favorite or best made project
Oct. 22nd: 3 p.m. 'til ? October (Knit)Fest, our hostess Andrée
Directions will be provided via email closer to the date. Please bring a sample of German cuisine for all to share, and of course, your latest project to work on as we celebrate Fall.
Nov. 19th: Knitting a tiny basket tree ornament, offered by Suzanne
Dec. 17th, @ Renée's house, directions will be provided via email closer to the date. Watch for it!
